At age 18, Rosalie Stafford was told she was borderline diabetic and would likely need insulin. Determined to avoid that path, she embarked on a natural, health-giving diet and lifestyle. More than 40 years later she continues to enjoy good health on a diet of unprocessed, live food.
She has written two books on nutrition — a cookbook and a reference book on the history of GMO foods — and, trained in massage and hypnotherapy, specialises in Reiki-like energy work using aura-massage and acupressure to support the client’s own healing powers.
She holds degrees in Art & Architectural History (BA) and English & Folklore (MA), and her work as a college instructor has taken her around the world, teaching Composition, World Literature, English Literature and Art & Architectural History. She has written and illustrated nonfiction books on subjects from Russian history to cartomancy, as well as three mystery novels. Today she lives a simple life in a remote part of Arizona, raising heritage chickens and turkeys.
